Myceliate: The PNW Mushroom and Permaculture Gathering 2024

Updates, venerability and my deep love and appreciation for the community we are all building.

My dearest Myceliate Family,

I am writing to update you on this year's gathering...

There will be no festival this year. But have no fear! We are fully gearing up for a full blown 2025! Why aren’t we gathering this year? Well Colton and I are getting married in July (woohoo!), I am also in the middle of preparing to head back to school in pursuit of getting my masters this fall. 

I think in all honesty, I also just needed a slight break. I LOVE to take on as many projects as my body will physically/ mentally allow and I think I hit my max last winter. I went from the untimely passing of my father, to the orchestration of 2 years of Myceliate and then into one of the craziness of the holiday seasons with Cognitive Function and it really took it out of me. I guess that type of a sprint will really show you what you are made of.

I am so grateful for what we are building and in an effort to build it sustainability, I want to lean into practicing what we preach, and listen to the rhythms that my body and internal landscape are shouting. Observation is one of the keys to abundance. 

I have been missing you all deeply and it has taken a lot to try to get this letter out. I know how much folks look forward to this event and I don’t want to let anyone down (my poor Libra moon). But 2025 is near and we will be back with a BANGER!!! Start preparing now :) I am already looking forward to sitting down to share one of Chef Janna's delicious meals with you. 

In the interim, have no fear for we will be hosting a Myceliate Summer Mixer, this will be happening in Seattle probably sometime in late August/ early September. I also have all of the recordings from last year's classes and we will be releasing those this summer around the date of our mixer... maybe it turns into a viewing party. 

I will not leave you guys without a spot to jam out at. So I have compiled a list of all the PNW events (that I am aware of) in hopes that you find one that helps you scratch that itch to nerd-out with some (hopefully) new friends. My intention is that we all go spread spores and come back together next year with new buddies to introduce into our awesome community.
